The MECA™ Protocol

Daily:

Pigeon pose, down and up positions

(right and left sides)

1 minute (down)

20 seconds (up)

 



Daily for 6 months - then 2x/week thereafter:

  • Lay on MECAback wedge at the end of the day for 10 minutes*
  • Half bridge to get off wedge, hold for10 seconds
  • * For excessively stiff spines, laying on the wedge may be initially uncomfortable. If you experience this, bridge off the wedge every minute (holding for 3 seconds each time) during the 10 minute duration. As your spine becomes more flexible, laying on the wedge becomes increasingly more comfortable.
